Connect to Zoom

Integrating Zoom with your TimeSync event will allow you to automatically generate a unique Zoom link in each meeting scheduled for that particular event. Note that for each event, users can only have one video conferencing integration. This will be the platform where your meetings are conducted.

Before you start, make sure you are logged in to your Zoom account on your device/browser. You must have a Zoom account to use TimeSync with Zoom.

Once your Zoom account is ready, connect your zoom account to TimeSync by following these easy steps.

Connecting Zoom To TimeSync:

  1. Go to your TimeSync dashboard.

  2. Select the Event that you want to connect to Zoom by clicking on it.

  3. Navigate to the 'Integrations' tab and scroll to find the Zoom integration option under 'Communications'.

  4. Click on 'Zoom' to open the integration pop-up.

  5. Hit the 'Connect' button to integrate to Zoom. You'll then be redirected to the authorization page if you have logged into your Zoom account. Give TimeSync (Novocall) access to Zoom by clicking on the 'Authorize' button.

If you're not logged in to Zoom, the sign-in page will appear. Sign in and repeat the process from the beginning.

        6. Once it has been connected, you can see a green checkmark on the Zoom card.

Now that your Zoom is linked, enable link generation automation:

  1. Go to the 'Edit Meeting' tab.

  2. Under 'Meeting Details', find the 'Location' drop-down.

  3. Select Zoom.

  4. Click 'Update' at the bottom right and you're done!

Test Zoom Link Generation:

To make sure that the auto-generation is working properly, book a test appointment.

  1. Click on the link icon to directly open your booking page.

  2. Book a sample meeting and check if a link has been automatically generated.

Your automation is a success if these things follow the scheduled Event:

  1. You and your invitee receive an email notification regarding meeting details and a Zoom meeting link. Here's an example of the emails you and your invitee will receive:

        2. The scheduled event is updated on your Zoom Meetings page.

Disconnecting Zoom Integration:

  1. Go to your TimeSync dashboard.

  2. Select the Event that you want to disconnect Zoom by clicking on it.

  3. Navigate to the 'Integrations' tab and scroll to find the Zoom integration option under 'Communications'.

  4. Click on 'Zoom' to open the integration pop-up.

       5. Click on 'Disconnect' to disconnect the Zoom integration. Once it has been disconnected, the green      checkmark will disappear.
