Backup/Restore MySQL Databases via cPanel 


To perform a database backup, please follow these steps:


1.    Log into your control panel and select Backups.


2.    Under Download a MySQL Database Backup, click on the name of the database.


3.    Select Save As.


4.    Choose a location where you would like to save the backup on your device.


       Once you have created a backup, if you happen to lose your data, you can easily and quickly restore the

       database.


To restore a database, please carry out the following steps:


1.    Log into your control panel and select Backups.


2.    Click the Browse button next to the option labeled Restore a MySQL Database.


3.    Select the .sql.gz file that you wish to restore.


4.    Click the Open button and then click the Upload button.
