How to Change n8n to a Paid License

For Self-Hosted n8n (License Key Activation)

If you are hosting n8n on your own infrastructure and have purchased a license (for example, Pro or Enterprise features), you can activate it either through the UI or by using environment variables.

1. Log in to your self-hosted n8n instance as an Admin or Owner.
   
   

2. Navigate to Settings > Usage and Plan.
   
   

3. Click Enter activation key.
   
   

4. Paste your license key and click Activate.

For n8n Cloud (Paid / Pro Plan)

To upgrade from a free trial or free account to a paid n8n Cloud plan:

1. Log in to your n8n Cloud instance.
   
   

2. Click the Upgrade button in the upper-right corner.
   
   

3. Select your preferred plan (for example, Pro) and billing cycle (monthly or annually).
   
   

4. Enter your payment details to complete the upgrade and activate the plan.

Please be informed that Exabytes does not distribute n8n licenses. Customers must obtain their n8n paid license directly from the official n8n provider.
