Minimum of 2 / maximum of 63 characters allowed.
4) Are there any reserved or blocked .sg domain names?
.sg Registry has reserved or blocked certain names:
- Name which contain words such as “Singapore”, Singapura”, “Singapore Government” or “President” and any other words that might suggest a link to the Government;
- Names which contain “SGNIC”, “NIC” and variations;
- Names which are obscene, scandalous, indecent or contrary to law or morality (e.g. “sex” or any connotations with sex or any sex-related activities);
- Names which are geographical names or names of countries (e.g. Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, etc.);
- Names (either on their own or in combination with other characters) of existing generic top-level domain names (gTLDs) (i.e. .com, .org, .net, edu, .gov, .per, .aero, .coop, .biz, .info, .museum, .name and pro) and any other gTLDs created or to be created by ICANN in the future;
- Name such as “www”, “https” or “http-www”;
- Names which are similar or identical to domain names registered under other domain name space and which SGNIC deems undesirable;
- Names which are set out in the RPPG to be reserved names of .per.sg;
- Names consisting entirely of numerals; and
- Names which in SGNIC’s sole and absolute opinion are undesirable or unsuitable for registration.

No, you are not allowed to delete the domain name after its registered; the registration fee is non-refundable. You shall be the owner of the domain for the fiscal year.

10) What is the renewal grace period for .sg domain name and how do I perform a domain renewal?
Renewal grace period for .sg domain name is 27 day; you may renew your domain name by logging in to our Exabytes Client Billing System here.
11) Any Redemption Grace Period (RGP) for .sg domain name?
Yes, Redemption Grace Period for .sg domain name is a period of 30 day. To redeem the domain within this period, you need to pay for domain renewal fee and domain redemption fee.
