Announcement - Exabytes Servers Relocation

| Dear Valued Clients, Greetings from Exabytes! As part of our continuous commitment to provide better services and better hosting experience to our valued clients, Exabytes will be carrying out a server relocation exercise from end of November 2023 till end of April 2024: Who will be affected? -------------------------- - Affected shared hosting clients/VPS: Notification via Exabytes Billing system. - Affected Dedicated / Colocation servers: Notification via Exabytes Helpdesk. When will this happen? ---------------------------- The relocation task will be carried out in several small batches in order to ensure a smooth transition. First batch of relocation to start at the end of November 2023. Last batch to be completed by the end of April 2024. Separate announcements will be sent out to keep our valued clients informed with the detailed information, such as the actual date and time of relocation. IMPORTANT NOTE: To receive the latest updates from us, please ensure your contact details in our Client Billing System are up to date. Where is the relocation destination? -------------------------------------------- From the present Data Centre at BDx SIN1, 110 Paya Lebar Road to Rack Central 1, 23 Tai Seng Drive. Reasons of server relocation --------------------------------------------------------------- To improve efficiency and as part of our expansion to handle increased demand on our Data Centre resources. What will happen during the relocation exercise? ------------------------------------------------ 1. We will shut down and unplug the servers, then move them from data centre at BDx SIN1, 110 Paya Lebar Rd to Rack Central 1, 23 Tai Send Drive. 2. A downtime is to be expected during the relocation exercise. We'll be updating the information BEFORE, and AFTER the relocation. 3. There will be NO changes of IP addresses to your hosting accounts/servers upon the completion of the relocation exercise. What Are The Things You Need To Prepare? ---------------------------------------------------- We recommend you to run a full data backup of your services with us to your local machine as an extra recovery points.
