Announcement - Microsoft New Commerce Experience and Latest Microsoft 365 Prices Adjustment
Dear valued client,
Warmest greetings from Exabytes.
Microsoft has recently announced a change in how customers purchase and manage their licenses through their Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) Program. This CSP plan is being replaced by a new program called New Commerce Experience (NCE).
What is Microsoft's NCE?
New Commerce Experience (NCE) broadly covers the changes in Microsoft licensing terms and pricing. It doesn’t directly impact consumers but affects business licensing in general. It is a new invoicing platform Microsoft is shifting all Partners and Customers to in order to reduce subscription licensing complexity.
Price Adjustment
During the launch of the New Commerce Experience, Microsoft announced commercial pricing changes for some key Microsoft 365 products. The pricing adjustment by Microsoft has translated into a price increase in Exabytes products, which is effective from 10 March 2022 onwards.
How will NCE affect you?
From 10 March 2022 onwards, all new subscriptions (including renewals) will be procured through Microsoft’s New Commerce Experience based on the new pricing.
Renewal of your existing legacy subscriptions:
If the renewal date of your legacy subscriptions is on or after 10 March 2022, your subscriptions will be renewed under the NCE plans in the next renewal.
After your renewal payment is received, our team will help you to set up new NCE subscriptions. Your legacy subscriptions will be discontinued.
You will need to log in your Microsoft admin account and re-assign the NCE licenses to your users (refer this guide).
Add more licenses to your legacy subscriptions:
You can no longer add on more licenses to your legacy subscriptions. You have to order new NCE subscriptions.

Thank you.
